Susie Edwards began her love affair with plants and flowers at the age of 10 when she became a junior member of her mother’s local flower club. Spending her informative years within the flower growing area of Lincolnshire undoubtedly influenced her love and understanding of the beauty of nature in all its moods. In the late 1950s Susie received classical floristry training by and worked for Constance Spry Ltd. She has since experimented with every new style as it has presented itself.
An internationally known and appreciated freelance designer and demonstrator, fort many years Susie has also been an International Demonstrator and National Speaker for NAFAS, the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies. In recent years, she has enjoyed teaching in Contemporary Floral Groups, bringing her natural rebellion to conformity into play with her passion for ‘organic’ textures.
Susie now lives in Dorset where she finds fresh inspiration in this beautiful county. She has written three books and is currently specialising in country weddings in the South and West of England.
